Just as luck would have it, not long after looking around a pokemon would shuffle closer to the Trainer and pokemon pair. A swinub, sniffling and snuffling on the ground, approached the two. She didn't seem scared, just maybe hungry, and Chu-e did bring some trail mix in with him since the receptionist said it might be a while this time....

Shrugging and pulling it out of his pocket, Chu-e knelt down and held out a handful of the mix to the little pokemon when it started to smell of his shoe. The little took the food and ignored him as it munched. So, not really friendly-friendly, like some pokemon could be. It was also pretty cute which meant it was high up on Chu-e's list of things he liked. Shrugging, he unhooked a safari ball and dropped on the pokemon right as it took it's last bite.

The next pokemon that the pair stumbled upon was not as friendly. As Chu-e paused to take in a particularly phallic shaped stalactite an Alolan Sandshrew charged at Sunshine with an Iron Head. The attack landed, causing the Arcanine to cry out and Chu-e to jerk to attention. That was about all the action the icy type got, though, as Sunshine retaliated with a point blank Flamethrower which was swiftly followed by a Crunch to hold the other pokemon down. It had really fucked up.

But, it was cute, so Chu-e whistled for Sunshine to stand down and took out another one of his Safari Balls. This one had some nice moxie.

Some pokemon wanted to fight, some were victims of circumstance, some would find a human convenient and then end up in their company permanently. There very, very few wild pokemon that actively wanted to be captured.

But Sneasel was one such pokemon.

He was technically 'wild', yes, but only so much that he had never been captured in a pokeball. He had been raised specifically for this, not taken from his home and gotten used to humans like most of the pokemon here, or raised in a zoo where they could still be savage, or any number of things like that. He had been a pedigree pokemon, born and raised, who some wealthy folks had 'donated' to get on the good graces of some other wealthy folks. It probably didn't help that he had a nasty habit of making eggs with some of the other show pokemon when he got the chance. Oops.

So this entire ordeal had been very stressful for him, since he was not used to living like a savage, and he was sure that when he was taken in by a trainer it would all be milk and honey just like before.

So when Sneasel spotted the first human he has seen since being here of course he ran for him. Chu-e had no idea what was happening, but there was a pokemon coming for him, so he had Sunshine stand guard to see what it would do.

What happened was Sneasel dropped to the ground in front of the human and rolled onto his back, as he had been taught to do, and rolled around as cutely as possible.

"Aw.... that's adorable." So Chu-e tossed his last ball, just see what would happen, since this pokemon seemed kind of dumb.
